"we CARE about winning"

The Pre-School Learning Alliance Accreditation

The Pre-School Learning Alliance is a national educational charity which has nearly 40 years’ experience of Early Years education.

The Pre-School Learning Alliance Accreditation Scheme involves an evaluation of our systems and procedures to ensure we are meeting the highest standards in childcare, parent inclusion and operate at the highest level.

It also provides a quality assurance for parents, allowing them to feel secure in the knowledge that their children are in good hands. The accreditation raises our profile to parents, other nursery settings and OFSTED, and helps us to further improve and build on the high standards we already have at Caring Kindergartens.

Investors in People

This award is given to organisations who meet the standards of the investors in people charter, achieving set criteria for working environment and policies for their staff.  At CK nurseries we are continually working with, and supporting our staff in raising the standards within our practice. In addition, every staff member is encouraged to develop through our in house training programmes which have widely been recognised in the childcare industry.

Heartbeat Award

The Northamptonshire Heartbeat Award is a nationally accredited award achieved by showing continued commitment to our children and parents by providing healthier food choices in a hygienic environment. It is a prestigious award which is a valued asset to Caring Kindergartens. We adopt these same standard across our group nurseries

The UK has one of the highest rates of heart disease and the most rapidly increasing rates of obesity in Europe. Furthermore, around 400,000 children are affected by overweight and obesity in the UK and Almost one in four affected across the entire EU.

Enabling children to eat a well balanced diet outside the home can help contribute to better heart health and reduce the risk of obesity. By adopting healthy food preparation methods and expanding the availability of healthier options, children eating at Caring Kindergartens can be assured that we are making healthier choices for their wellbeing.
