Babies

Our homely setting allows babies to settle with ease, with qualified, caring staff to support baby during the transition from home to nursery, and to provide parents with the re-assurance they need during this important time for all concerned. Baby rooms are well resourced, providing children with a stimulating, safe and clean environment - an atmosphere to encourage all areas of the babies’ development though fun whilst learning.

Key workers look after each Baby as an individual, to ensure they develop quickly and pass the many meaningful milestones in their first year of life from crawling through to those all so important first steps. Staff offer full support to babies as they progress but also give them the encouragement to become independent.

Your baby will sleep in a cot room, separate from the play area and remainder of the nursery. These cot rooms are carefully monitored and supervised by staff, and having a separate, secure and cosy area reinforces the association of their cot at home, and helps baby to settle into the nursery environment more effectively Our experienced and highly qualified nursery nurses will be able to offer advice and support to you, on your baby’s personal needs such as weaning, daily routines and sleep patterns.

Each child’s progression is clearly recorded, and parents receive regular verbal feedback from key workers and other staff. A daily record is also provided giving a summary of your child’s day at Caring Kindergartens.
