DaisiesThe move up to the Daisy groups sees the children progressing into more areas of their development journey, with a little more structure and organisation to their day.Circle time and discussions begin encouraging children to make simple sounds and first words to assist them in becoming skilful communicators! The children are able to enjoy the safe and secure garden spaces, be it through free play, structured activity or just having fun outside! Your child will be given rich opportunities to problem-solve in play situations, and again, support is given in encouraging your child to grow their independence. Social skills will be developed as children are taught to use manners and etiquette, such as sitting nicely at the table to enjoy their meals with a group of friends. Children will also begin to use the separate bathrooms all our nurseries have, and learn to wash their face and clean their teeth. (Each Child has their own wash bag containing a towel, flannel and tooth brush) |
